Salt and Light Catholic Homeschool is a PreK through 12th grade program that includes all subjects except math! With a heavy influence of the Charlotte Mason method of learning, there are books to purchase to go with it. Which you can find HERE. However, there are fewer books than one would expect with a literature heavy program that is for all grades! This is to help keep it minimal and simple to implement. No one wants to be overwhelmed while homeschooling!
This is a reusable, non-consumable curriculum! It’s the first of 6 volumes that you repeat once through all six volumes. It is solidly Catholic, and includes classes all written out for you in Fitness and Personal Health, Nature Study I, Herbal Study, and History of the Catholic Church as well as detailed guides for teaching English simply [and a special guide for teaching dyslexic children], and Faith studies. I loved loved loved doing Salt and Light Year 1. It gave us so much joy to be able to share our time together the way this curriculum encourages you to do. In the midst of a messy year for our family with high risk pregnancy other little ones and major health issues in my family, Jane’s Salt and Light was a Heaven sent.
